The Bell Oaks Chorale is continuing under the direction of Mr. Sean F. Clancy during the 2016-2017 school year. We had a very successful winter season and are looking forward to an even more exciting spring season of choral repertoire. Please come out and join us for another extraordinary adventure.
What is Chorale?
The Bell Oaks Chorale has a legacy of many years of excellence at various competitions in the tristate area and in the Camden County community. Its main purpose is to provide the students with an educational, choral experience. The group explores a variety of genres from a variety of time periods to facilitate a global understanding of choral music. The repertoire is often supplemented with movement and visual enhancements to support the overall presentation. Students do not have the opportunity to experience a choir during the school day. Chorale is the only extracurricular opportunity Bell Oaks provides for learning the complex craft of singing. The chorale program seeks to build peer and community camaraderie in the Borough of Bellmawr.
Who can join?
Anyone attending Bell Oaks! There are no prerequisites to attain an audition with this group. There are, however, standards that are expected to be met (e.g. academic requirements, school attendance, commitment, etc.). Singing is a wonderful way to relieve stress, catalyze whole brain learning, and be a part of something bigger than yourself. Every person is an important part of the picture.
I am looking forward to a great year of making music with the 2016-2017 Bell Oaks Chorale
Mr. Sean F. Clancy
