Day 1 & 2 (March 30th-31st)

-Holocaust webquest
-Holocaust BrainPop, video and quiz
-Read the copy of the allegory Terrible Things by Eve Bunting
-Complete the Terrible Things activity w/s

Day 3 & 4 (April 1st-2nd)

-Read the NewsELA article, titled The Holocaust, Part One: The Rise of Adolf Hitler and World War II Take the quiz and complete the writing assignment
-Complete the Anticipation Guide w/s for The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
-Define the vocabulary words from your list #1-5 in your notebook
-Read chapter 1 in your novel
-Complete chapter 1 quickwrite

Day 5  (April 3rd )

Use this as a make-up day!

Day 6&7 (April 6th &7th)

-Complete chapter 1 reading questions
-Read the NewsELA article, titled  The Holocaust, Part Two: The "Final Solution". Take the quiz and complete the writing assignment
-Define the vocabulary words from your list #6-10 in your notebook
-Read chapter 2 in your novel
-Complete chapter 2 quickwrite

Day 8 & 9 (April 8th-April 9th)

-Complete chapter 2 reading questions
-Define the vocabulary words from your list #11-15 in your notebook
-Read chapter 3 in your novel
-Complete chapter 3 quickwrite
-Complete chapter 3 reading questions
-Define the vocabulary words from your list #16-20 in your notebook

  • Read the NewsELA article titled Pro/Con:Vaccines, complete the quiz and complete the writing assignment.
  •  Follow directions from the "FeverLitLogNotebookHeck" file on Teams to set up your e-lit log (you should create this as a Word Online document.
  • Define chapters 1-4 vocab in your LitLog file
  • Read Chapter 1 in your Novel (you may follow along with the posted video on Teams)
  • Complete chapter 1 quickwrite


Day 5 (April 3rd)

Makeup day! Use this day to complete anything you missed.

Day 6 & 7 (April 6th & 7th)

  • Read the NewsELA article titled The Plague B.C., take the quiz, and complete the writing assignment.
  • Complete chapter 1 reading questions in your LitLog file
  • Read Chapter 2 (you may follow along with the posted video on Teams)
  • Complete chapter 2 quickwrite

  • Complete Chapter 2 reading questions in your LitLog file
