December's Composer of the Month is Ludwig van Beethoven!

Ludwig van Beethoven was born on December 17th, 1770 in Bonn, Germany.  He is one of the most well recognized composers of all time.  He composed a lot of music and connected the gap between the Classical period and the Romantic period.  He wrote nine symphonies, many piano pieces, a few string quartets, a mass, and an opera.  Near the end of his life, Beethoven went deaf.  Even though he could not hear anything, some of his most famous music was written while he was deaf.  Check out some of his music by clicking on the links below!
